Make it out to any of these events for a great time with others who share similar interests, or have similar hobbies. No matter what you are into, you are sure to find something you will enjoy. Purl Jam Rock the Yarn

This event allows you to work on your knitting skills. Come out no matter what level you are and enjoy learning how to knit better with others who share the same interests. If you already have a project in progress, our professionals can help you get better by teaching you skills to use on that project. You can sign up at the front desk of the Salem Public Library or call 375-3089 and ask for more information on how to get involved.

Shamrock Volleyball Festival

The Shamrock Volleyball Festival is one of the largest nationally sanctioned USAV tournaments, and is one of the premiere volleyball events for juniors on the East Coast. IT features teams in the 14, 16, and 18 & under age divisions. There were over 240 teams last year from all over the country, and they are expecting even more this year. Come out to enjoy the great game of volleyball.

Pokémon Club

If you are sinto Pokémon (like so many of us are) then you will want to join the Pokémon club. Bring your cards and/or your DS games to battle and trade every second Tuesday of the month. You can also walk around and play Pokémon Go with other enthusiasts! This group is for kid’s ages 6-12, and is a great way to meet other talented trainers in the area.
